Tuba Christmas
2017 is the 44th anniversary for TUBACHRISTMAS concerts/events which are presented throughout the world. TUBACHRISTMAS was conceived in 1974 by Harvey Phillips as a tribute to his teacher and mentor William J. Bell, born on Christmas Day, 1902. The first TUBACHRISTMAS was conducted by Paul Lavalle in New York City's Rockefeller Plaza Ice Rink on Sunday, December 22, 1974.
Please join us on Sunday, December 3rd for Keene's TUBACHRISTMAS. Registration begins at 10:30 am in the Mabel Brown Room. A $10.00 participant registration fee is required. Parking can be found in the Madison Parking Lot off of Winchester Street or the Elliot Lot off of Wyman Way. Note: Please bring a cloth for water valve.
The concert begins at 1pm in the Mabel Brown Room of the L.P. Young Student Center and is free and open to the public.
