Debriefing Peer Observations: Constructive Conversations for Professional Growth
A critical element of effective peer observation is the conversation that follows the classroom visit. Whether we are delivering or receiving feedback, our follow-up conversations must be handled with a healthy blend of professional purpose and respect, in a collaborative effort to facilitate professional dialogue and create positive change in classroom practice. In this workshop, we will examine productive ways to debrief peer observations, with particular focus on monitoring the intent and impact of our words. This program will be led by Dr. Dottie Bauer, Education Department, and Dr. Chris Odato, Instructional Consultant. The content will be relevant and useful both to people conducting observations and to instructors being observed. Please sign up at: https://goo.gl/forms/RovCriOVQao6olAE2
