KSC Saxophone and Brass Ensembles Concert
On Sunday, November 4 at 3 p.m., the Keene State Brass and Saxophone Ensembles will present their fall concert. The performance features music from 16th Century Venice to 20th Century Fox, highlighted by several works of the Academy Award winning composer John Williams. The Brass Ensemble, directed by new faculty member Fred Sienkiewicz, will perform works by Gabrieli, Handel, Bach, and Josquin de Prez. The Saxophone Ensemble, directed by Craig Sylvern, will perform works by Debussy, Scott Joplin, W.C. Handy, and one of the great friends of the saxophone - Walter Hartley. The concert promises to have something for everybody. Come spend a Sunday afternoon listening to great music!
