The Keene Vocal Consort, led by Matthew Leese and Daniel Carberg, is an auditioned ensemble devoted to music of the medieval, renaissance and baroque periods, typically from the 9th century through to the year 1700. They study and sing from original notation wherever possible, and the group relies heavily on individual leadership and preparation.
