Nothing is better than the real thing right? Well here’s your chance to experience what it’s like to serve with City Year live in person! City Year site’s in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic are hosting Shadow Days to allow confirmed corps members and current applicants to tour their offices and join our corps members in school with their students.
Here are a few logistics:

What: Are invited to visit City Year offices and shadow corps members (detailed schedules upon RSVP)
When: January 13th, 2016
Where: New Hampshire, Boston, Providence, New York, Philadelphia and DC
Why: To provide you with a clear picture of what we do and our impact/ Give you the opportunity to meet and speak with current City Year members about their experience.
If you have any questions about the event please don’t hesitate to reach out via email or call/text at 302-824-8088. The deadline to RSVP is December 18th, 2015.
During the Shadow Day, you will:
- be provided with light refreshments as you receive an introduction to City Year
- learn about City Year’s work addressing the national dropout crisis in public schools
- engage in a leadership workshop similar to training our corps members receive
