Dracula
Redfern Arts Center - Main Theater
"Dracula" by Bram Stoker, adapted for the stage by Steven Dietz, directed by Daniel Patterson, runs Wednesday to Saturday, Nov. 14-17 at 7:30 p.m. in Redfern's Main Theatre.
This new stage adaptation restores the non-stop, heart pounding suspense and seduction of Bram Stoker's classic novel. As Count Dracula begins to exert his plan to find a new feeding ground in the teeming masses of industrial-age London, the heroes of the play, led by the indomitable Professor Van Helsing, try to piece together the clues of his appearances in a valiant attempt to save themselves from a fate far worse than death. Rich with both humor and horror, this play paints a wickedly theatrical picture of Stoker's famous vampire. Warning: due to the disturbing and often graphic nature of the action, this play is not recommended for children.
$10-$8, $6 KSC students
