Keene State College faculty and staff are invited to participate in a National Institutes of Health webinar on Friday, September 11 (1:00 – 3:00 p.m.) NIH’s Megan Columbus will talk about the fundamentals of the NIH and the NIH grants process, specifically…

  • NIH’s mission and organization
  • Finding the right NIH funding opportunity
  • Identifying the right NIH contacts
  • How the application and review processes work
  • Understanding NIH resources
  • Using the RePORT tool to your advantage

The webinar is appropriate for faculty, post docs, graduate students, and other researchers interested in applying but perhaps new to NIH, as well as to research administrators at your institution.

The format will be a 90-minute presentation by Ms. Columbus(Director of NIH’s Office of Communications and Outreach, Extramural Research), followed by a 30-minute Q&A period.

Last year more than 270 people viewed this webinar at institutions all over New England and beyond.
