Scott Mullett Jazz Quartet with vocalist Rebecca Holtz
World-class saxophonist Scott Mullett and his jazz quartet will perform a special Swing into Summer concert with classical jazz singer Rebecca Holtz. The performance will herald the opening of the New England Foundation for the Arts Creative Communities Exchange (CCX) 2015 to be held Tuesday and Wednesday, June 2 to 3, in Keene by local host Arts Alive. Tickets to the Scott Mullett jazz concert are only $10 and will be free to CCX registrants.
The concert program, which will be announced from the stage, will include classical jazz and big band favorites. The Scott Mullett Jazz Quartet is a versatile and energetic jazz group based in Keene. The quartet, led by Mullett on tenor saxophone, includes Joe Mazarella, piano, Steve Cady, bass, and Jon Fisher, drums. Rebecca Holtz, who has an electrifying stage presence belting out her own interpretation of big band jazz, has made frequent appearances with the Keene Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Scott Mullett.
