Presentation by Dr. Imani Tafari-Ama

Dr. Tafari-Ama’s major research interests are gender and development, political violence, terrorism, Rastafari and Caribbean theology, digital technosphere and cultural power. Recent Publications Include: Lead In the Veins: Poetic Reflections on Life, Love, and (In) Justice, Blood, Bullets, and Bodies: Sexual Politics Below Jamaica’s Poverty Line, Engendering Human Security: Feminist Perspectives, Analysis of a Research Project: Gender Relations in Rastafari, Rastawoman as rebel: Case Studies In Jamaica. She teaches “Rastafari in the Global Context.”
