New Password Reset Service

Beginning January 5th, the KSC IT Group is introducing a new Keene State Password Reset Service.

What does that mean to you?

Starting two weeks before your password is about to expire, you will receive emails from the IT Group HelpDesk reminding you that your password is about to expire and how to change your password using our new password reset service. This new password reset service is great because it allows you to change or reset your password anytime, anywhere - even if you've forgotten your password. Also, when you change your password using our new password reset service, that same password will work for your accounts at any of the other USNH institutions (excluding Banner).

You will know this email is legitimately from the KSC IT Group HelpDesk because it will come from helpdesk@keene.edu and will have a subject line that will contain: Important Information from the IT Group – NetID password expiration.

You’ve seen similar subject lines in previous messages from the IT Group. However, whenever you are in doubt and have a concern about a Phishing attempt, you should always contact us before you take any action on an email requesting account information.

The password email notification will also contain the standard information you see in all our emails such as:

• Reference to the IT Group HelpDesk
• What we are doing and what we need you to do
• The HelpDesk contact information in case you need assistance

Within the email you will be provided a link to our new Password Reset Servicehttps://selfservice.keene.edu/. This service is available to you now and you may enroll in it anytime. Don't forget, two weeks prior to password expiration you will receive email notifications.

So feel free to jump on board early and enroll in the Keene State Password Reset Service.
