'Cinco de Mayo: The Battle' (2013) is a Mexican war film directed by Rafa Lara. This action-packed historical epic depicts the political strategy, war tactics, and human drama leading up to the Battle of Puebla on May 5th, 1862, when a scrappy Mexican army astonished its French occupiers with its resilience. The movie chronicles the bravery of a people pushed to the limit, fighting for their nation, their families, and their pride. In Spanish with English subtitles.
