Bonnie Harris: When Your Kids Push Your Buttons

Young Student Center - Mabel Brown Room
Wednesday, · -

That certain look, attitude or behavior and your child “makes” you see red. Ever find yourself yelling those words you swore you never would? When children push our buttons, we revert to the “road rage” of parenting and react automatically and regretfully. In a split second, authority is lost, control is gone, and our children manipulate us by pushing those buttons again and again. Find out where your buttons come from, why your children push them, and how to defuse them in order to effectively respond instead of react, regain authority, and become the parent your child has been asking for all along.
