Duties: Along with other librarians, create and maintain the library's web site, develop instruction modules for user education program, participate in planning and teaching the library portion of new CS 101 course (Computer & Information Processing), select electronic indexing, abstracting, and fulltext services for subscription, train staff and end-users in use of electronic reference services, collect and analyze statistics for database usage, assist library users in all aspects of information retrieval (both manual and online), referral services, and instruction in the use of library resources, teach advanced course-related user education classes, produce point-of-use instruction guides for electronic resources. In July 1997 discipline liaison areas change to English, Modern Languages, Communication, Journalism, and Children's Literature. In January 2003 discipline liaison areas change to American Studies, English, and Modern Languages.
