History of the Festival:
The Children's Literature Festival began with a spring meeting in 1978, followed by a fall conference. The Festival attracts as many as 700 teachers, authors, librarians and children's literature enthusiasts for the one-day conference, featuring authors and teachers as speakers.

Scope and Content Note:
The collection consists of posters promoting the Children's Literature Festival at Keene State College. The posters include the date of the festival, an illustration, and information on the artist. The posters are arranged chronologically.
