Biographical Sketch:
Eve Bunting is the author of over 200 books for young readers. The author has received numerous awards including the Caldecott Medal for Smoky Night, illustrated by David Diaz, and the Kerlan Award for her body of work.

Scope and Content Note:
The collection documents the author's work in writing Peepers and includes the first draft and a typed manuscript of the book. The first draft (Series 1, folder 1) includes a note of correspondence to David White donating the collection to the college. Eve Bunting was a speaker at the Children's Literature Festival at Keene State College.
