This spring, in his third year of teaching at Cooperative Middle School in Stratham, N.H., Adam Wiggin was named the winner of the Fernand J. Prevost Mathematics Teaching Award, presented annually to an outstanding young math teacher in New Hampshire. "Everyone thinks that teaching is a monotonous job, that all we do is teach the same thing year after year, but I couldn't disagree more," Adam told the Exeter News-Letter. "I get to interact with 120 students over 180 days and learn how each one is different and similar in their own way." Dr. Prevost, for whom the award is named, is a 1957 graduate of Keene State. 2002 Meredith Kurland '02 and Doug Morse '02 were married Nov. 7, 2002, at the Highlander Inn in Manchester, N.H. They live in Stuttgart, Germany, where Doug is a specialist in the U.S. Army. KSC attendees at the celebration included Amber Eliason, Christine Birt, Lora Zolli, Laura Martocchio, Stacey Denette, Erin Kelble, Tina Noiva, Holly Norton, Hannah Houghton, Kasey Eddy, Joe Kolodziej, Brian Hout, Kelly Charbono, and Benny Tyer. 1920s - 1930s - 1940s - 1950s - 1960s - 1970s - 1980s - 1990s - 2000s Weddings - In Memoriam - Highlights - Send in your news |
