IN MEMORIAM: Rebecca Hardy Philbrick '82
Wendy Kern traveled to Shanghai, China, with Bridging the World to teach English at a summer camp. Despite differences in language, culture, and her surroundings, she found many of the people shared similar values and beliefs as her own.
Russ Crowell passed away on November 24, 2009. Russ worked for many years in the publishing industry and most recently was employed by NK Graphics of Chesterfield NH. He had the opportunity to work on many best sellers such as The Kite Runner, The World Is Flat, The Joy of Cooking, and several of the Harry Potter series. Russ was thanked publicly in print in the Joy of Cooking book for his work. Many Keene State alums celebrated his life at his memorial service. He will be missed by all of us who knew him.
Arlene Lewis Dykes is substitute teaching once a week in Pennsylvania.

Lisa L. Magnusson teaches kindergarten in Northwood, New Hampshire. She has two daughters.
Patricia Cassin writes: "Our Centennial Reunion was great fun. My twins are 17; one is at Spaulding High School and the other is at Winnacunnet. Elizabeth is looking at colleges. She would like to become a lawyer. Colin has straight As this quarter. I'm looking forward to seeing more friends at the next Reunion."

Eric Weinraub writes: "I heard from old friend Joe Lusk, or should I say Lt. Col. Joseph P. Lusk? He is in the middle of yet another deployment to Iraq. Joe has served both in Iraq and Afghanistan. Ruby Wilcox Lewis is an assisted living director in Florida. She has a 26-year-old son and a two-year-old grandson. She and her husband live on the waterfront just minutes from Pensacola Beach.
