After graduating from KSC, Denis Lambert began a music teaching career at Fair Haven (Vt.) Union High School, where he directed a concert band and jazz ensemble for four years. In June, he accepted an offer to teach instrumental music at a K-12 school in Bethel, Vt., and currently lives in nearby Rochester. He is also editor of The Vermont Music Educator, a quarterly journal published by the state division of MENC, a professional association for music educators. 2001 Trish Otto writes: "I married Jay Layfield on Feb. 28, 2004, at Wentworth-by-the-Sea in Newcastle, N.H., at sunset. Jay's children, Aaron and Corrin, were best man and maid of honor. Now I am not only a wife, but also a stepmom to an eight-year-old and a 10-year-old." 2002 From Crystal M. Longacre: "Hello, everyone! I moved to San Diego,Calif., and it's great out here. I'd love to hear from those friends with whom I have lost touch. My e-mail is senoritalongacre@hotmail.com. Hasta luego. 2003 Sara Kotter of Globe, Ariz., writes, "Doing well in Arizona. Taking my exam soon and upon passing, I will be a registered dietitian. Miss KSC!" Sarah Mele, a lifelong Salem, N.H., resident, has gone home to Salem's Woodbury School for her first teaching position - grade 7 reading and writing. Sarah's mother, Linda, also teaches in the Salem school system. 2004 James T. Price lives in Lebanon, N.H., and has a wonderful job as a high school business and computer teacher and football coach for the Lebanon Raiders. IN MEMORIAM: Jacob Bergeron '04 died Sept. 29, 2004, in Brattleboro, Vt.
