Class Notes 2000

This spring, in his third year of teaching at Cooperative Middle School in Stratham, N.H., Adam Wiggin was named the winner of the Fernand J. Prevost Mathematics Teaching Award, presented annually to an outstanding young math teacher in New Hampshire. "Everyone thinks that teaching is a monotonous job, that all we do is teach the same thing year after year, but I couldn't disagree more," Adam told the Exeter News-Letter. "I get to interact with 120 students over 180 days and learn how each one is different and similar in their own way." Dr. Prevost, for whom the award is named, is a 1957 graduate of Keene State.
