Paul Huard is a teacher at Salem (N.H.) High School and his wife Kathy Rysnik Huard '71 is a teacher at Windham (N.H.) Center School. She writes: Our youngest daughter Amy married Jason W. Dailey on Oct. 25, 2002, with several KSC alumni friends in attendance. Our eldest daughter Rebecca and her husband Rick Sousa of Millbury, Mass., became the proud parents of their first child, Isabelle Kathryn, on Nov. 4, 2002.

Tom and Jeanne Alizio are enjoying their semi-retirement. They are busy helping with their six grandchildren, but find time to run their own karaoke-DJ business and do consulting as well. They sum up their present lifestyle by saying that retirement was the best gift they could have given themselves, each other, and their family. They'll see you at the 35th reunion in 2006. Marcia and Ronald Manseau '74 live in Bedford, N.H. She writes: Son Matt graduated from Wesleyan University, where he lettered in football for four years. Our daughter Melissa recently received All-America distinction in field hockey for Bryant College, where she is a junior and captain of her team.

Janet S. Murray teaches kindergarten in Fabius Pompey elementary School, 20 minutes south of Syracuse, N.Y. Her daughter Sarah graduates from Dartmouth this year and son Marc is a freshman, playing lacrosse, at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y.

Raynee Joy Carlson of Gilford, N.H., writes: Our 30th reunion is almost upon us! Thought I'd send an update about our L.I.V.E. mini-reunion and plans for a 5th reunion in the fall. On a snowy Nov. 27, the 4th annual L.I.V.E. reunion luncheon was held at Woodstock Station in North Woodstock, N.H. This was our first venture north of the Lakes Region. Joining us this year were KV King, KSC professor and founder of the L.I.V.E. (Learn In Vigorous Environments) program, his wife Mary, their children Keith V. (Keevee) King, Jr. '77, Louise (Weeze) King Dyer '78, and Keevee's second son Tyler. KV and Keevee and families reside in Alton, and Louise and family live in Northwood. Also, Melanie Miller Harding '72 of Bethlehem, Meg Stott Rajala '74 and her husband Ruben of Gorham. Peter Axelson, an assistant to KV at L.I.V.E. house, weathered the storm and traveled three hours from Reading, Mass., to join us. Alumni who have joined us for previous reunions but unable to make it this year include Judy Lavoie Hurd of Irasburg, Vt., Anita and Dick Shaw '74 of Bow, Peg Gay of Henniker, Patricia (OB) O'Brien of Bridgewater/Plymouth, and Tony Sarni '74 of Portsmouth. Also missing this year were KSC attendees Vernon Hurd and Mary Ann Delancey Robator.

IN MEMORIAM: William E. Bohan M'73 died March 26, 2003, in Lake Wales, Fla. A retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force, he flew a B-17 in WW II and was shot down over Hamburg, Germany. He spent two years as a prisoner of war. A long-time resident of No. Swanzey, N.H., he was a senior safety engineer for National Grange Mutual Insurance Co.

Daniel C. Hansberry was elected president of the Nashua (N.H.) Board of Education for 2003.

Bob Wyman has had his practice of optometry in Keene for 23 years. He and wife Lisa have three sons, Josh, 20, Travis, 20, and Sam, 16.

Hello, 76ers. Just got through a foot and a half of snow this week. When you read this, the historic snowstorm in Connecticut will just be a memory. New England sure keeps me moving during the winter. I should get the skis out again, but that's another story. Regarding Reunion Weekend this year, if you got a chance to attend, it certainly made for a fun and informative weekend. Keep us posted on what's going on with the 76ers.

Nancy Provencal Heyner recently visited Alaska and met up with her freshman roommate, Carol Masella Newman, who teaches in North Pole, Alaska. Carol and her husband Johnny have one son, Matt. Carol has had some interesting teaching experiences in Alaska, including teaching in the remote village of Ruby. Continuing south, Nancy then had a great reunion with Lyn Plomaritus. Lyn and her husband, Charlie O'Neill, are building a house high above the copper mining ghost town of Kennicott, Alaska. Not easy to get to, but well worth the trip. Lyn recently retired from teaching in Delta Junction, Alaska. Nancy retired from the corporate travel world a while back, and spends much of her time as a volunteer for hospice in Portland, Maine. She also keeps busy with some substitute teaching, and working at L.L. Bean during the holiday season. Nancy lives outside of Portland with her husband Robert and three vizslas (Hungarian bird-hunting dogs).

From Sylvia Brink: Hi, Diane and everybody. I just love getting my Keene State Today and looking through to see what's new. I'm still living in New Jersey with my husband and our son Scott. We have been married 15 years in July. I'm teaching in the resource center in a nearby district. I have second graders for reading, language arts, and math and then I do an in-class support session for sixth grade social studies and science. Rich is working for Sony Electronics and Scott is in the fifth grade. Let's get some class notes in the book. Our contributions have been looking rather slim lately. Come on, everyone.

Louise R. Holmes of East Hartford, Conn., is director of Christian education at First Congregation Church in East Hartford. Her daughter Jennifer is finishing her sophomore year at KSC and, according to her mother, "absolutely loves it!"

Rosemary Paquette Robinson Bailey is married and has two girls, one in fourth grade and one out of high school. She lives in Sunapee, N.H., and works at Newport Middle School in Newport, N.H. She writes: Four years ago, I left the business world, where I had worked since graduation and went to my intended career of teaching. I love what I do, although the kids are so different and very challenging. I love the challenge and the time I now can spend with my children in the summer. The financial compensation is so much less than business, but the rewards are much greater. I thoroughly enjoy being able to enlighten the kids about careers, nutrition, and parenting. So many schools have removed the old home economics programs but the revised family and consumer science curriculum is truly life skills, and our kids need this knowledge so much.
