1983

Close to 20 members of Keene State's ultimate Frisbee team gathered over the weekend of November 13-14, 2010, to participate in the annual Broderick Lee Memorial Tournament in Keene. The Hooters, as the team was affectionately known, played competitively throughout the 1980s, culminating in two Division II New England championships in 1984-85. In 1981, the team suffered a tremendous loss when one of their players, Broderick Lee, passed away while playing at UMass Amherst. Since then the team has hosted a tournament to celebrate Broderick's life and love for the sport. Participants at this year's reunion were Glenn '87 and Abby '88 Galloway, Glen '85 and Lori '85 Lamothe, Tom Puleio '87, Tom Degnan '87, Dennis Healy '88, Kevin Foley '88, Ed Nenortas '87, Cindy Sterling '90, Ward Bennett '86, Jon '00 and Mary Sheehan '85, Robert Coleburn '84, John '83 and Suzie '83 Meehan, Teresa Snyder '85, and Mark '83 and Holly '83 Lowe Adamy.

Wendy Kern has remained friends with her KSC group. She, Cindy Gonyer Brooks, and Jenny Sten Cromack visited in October 2010.

Paul C. MacDonald writes: "I had an unbelievably great time at my 25th class reunion. It was beyond my expectations. Every event was well planned, the food and entertainment were first class, the staff and President Giles-Gee went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and the new dorms we stayed in were fabulous. It was great to reunite with old classmates and make new friends. The campus has changed so much, and Keene State has a lot to offer. If you haven't been back, you need to go. You have a wonderful new home in the Alumni Center waiting to welcome you."

1986

"Hi, everybody! Michael Trabucco here, back with more updates from fellow 1986 graduates. I truly hope you've all marked your calendars with a big K, S, and C on June 3, 4, and 5. In ink. That's our 25th reunion. If you haven't gone to any others, this is the one to attend. Start planning now. Think about sending me an e-mail with an update on what's going on in your life! I'll see you in June."

From Patty Cassin: "Happy New Year, everybody! I am proud to announce that my son Colin became the first Marine of the new year at Parris Island, SC, on January 7, 2011. He is now at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina for Marine combat training for 29 days. Colin's twin sister, Elizabeth, made the dean's list at Emmanuel College in Boston her first semester. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at our 25th reunion in June!"

Dan Thibodeau writes: "I've been married to Maria McKenney Thibodeau '85 for 22 years, and we've been living in Dover, NH, since 1993. We have one daughter who is a junior at Champlain College in Burlington, VT. I'm employed by Liberty Mutual as a portfolio underwriter in group insurance. Maria and I attended her KSC 25th reunion last year and had a blast. The very cool '85 grads adopted the few but proud '86 grads and had a great time. Even though the campus has changed so much over the years, the reunion was a chance to rekindle the great times we all experienced when we attended KSC. I'm hoping to see lots of '86 grads in June 2011."

From Michael Lindsey: "I was remarried in July 2005 to Karen Ewing (from California) at Castle Hill Inn, Newport, RI. We live in Tolland, CT, and have a son, Aiden, born March 2009. He is my first and only, and at my age, he'll either keep me young or kill me! I am still in the limousine business and recently celebrated 21 years. In 2008, I acquired www.airportlimo.com and relaunched the brand in January 2009. The brand has expanded our services to more than 450 cities worldwide. I also own quite a few Internet businesses; one that I broker domains through is www.premierdomains.com. I also invented online software for the limousine business called Ratebutler.com, which is much like Facebook but for the limousine industry, and allows companies to share information and rates about themselves to other companies. I stay in touch with Michael 'Spike' Tardiff, Clint Campbell, and Joe Czajkowski. I would love to hear from Gary Goyette, as it was his stories of being a chauffeur during his summers off at Keene State that prompted me to fill out an application at Pilgrim Limousine in Manchester, NH, back in 1987."

1987

Katie MacKay Schmitt writes: "I got married (for the first time!). I had to wait to make sure I found the right one. It's funny; if you add up our ages, we equal 100 years!"

News from Dave Brigham: "I published my first book, a collection of short stories called (C)rock Stories: Million-Dollar Tales of Music, Mayhem, and Immaturity. I spent 10 years writing, rewriting, editing, and rewriting again, and I'm proud of the book. I hope it won't take me 10 years to write my next one."

James Sullivan was Hooksett, NH, 2010 Citizen of the Year. He serves on the school board, the Lions Club, and at the historical society.
