Flora Perkins writes: "In response to a Christmas card, I received a short letter from Louise (Marquis) Burbank. She says, 'At this age I don't have much to say but keep on going and going.' She has reached the good old age of 99 but suffers some from arthritis. She would be pleased to hear from classmates and receive a snapshot or two. So would I! My Christmas was very special. There were 16 members of my family who gathered at my daughter Martha Perkins Ramsey's '61 home. Of course, I was the oldest. Then there was baby Elias Gates, who is the youngest. There were too many to set up the dining room table, so we all lunched buffet-style. There was the usual Christmas tree with lots of presents." 1933
