The intention of this proposal process is to keep an IT working plan as a continued engagement of prioritization, planning, and project tracking as we move through next year. The IT working plan is created through needs assessment and/or staff, faculty, or departmental identification. The Campus Planning process solicits IT initiative proposals from the campus that are on the next 12 month horizon. These proposals may be strategic or operational and require time or money whether the IT Group is indirectly or directly impacted. In other words, a project might seek staff consultancy from the IT Group or it may seek central funds. Proposals should include analysis and planning as well as implementation. Project leaders (from across the college) will play a role in identifying and fostering initiatives through advance project definition and scope, leverage resources and partners, and link initiatives to college goals and priorities.
