Secure access to Keene State College IT resources and services from a remote location outside the KSC network has become a frequently requested service. The KSC Remote Access solution was developed with the fundamental goal to protect KSC data within the KSC network. It enables authorized users consistent, secure, efficient and sustainable access to KSC IT resources.

The KSC remote access solution is implemented using a customized Cisco VPN Client. The client enables the user secure/encrypted access to the KSC network and login to a Terminal Server. The terminal server allows access to the following resources and services:

• Outlook for your email
• Personal Network Storage P: drive
• Group Network Storage Q: drive

• Microsoft Office Applications

• Printing locally is not supported.
• Access to USNH Banner Finance and HR resources is not available while running the KSC Remote Access solution.
• Login access to desktops and servers is restricted to authorized personnel only.

• KSC staff require authorization by their supervisor.
• KSC faculty require authorization by their Department Chair or Dean.
• Non KSC employees, e.g. vendors or contractors, requires authorization by a director.
