In a comfortable environment, participants learn how to recognize and care for immediate life-threatening emergencies such as heart attack, cardiac arrest, or respiratory problems. This interactive program also teaches the knowledge and skills necessary to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), the life-saving device that has been proven to make the difference in those first few minutes after sudden cardiac arrest, but before EMS arrives! Wear comfortable clothes due to hands-on activities. Those who successfully complete all portions of this program will be issued an appropriate CPR/AED Certificates through the Emergency Care and Safety Institute. These trainings are being provided by Manning Emergency Educators, Inc., with support from the KSC Environment, Health and Safety Office. Presener: Phylis Manning & staff
