Learn the basics of rock climbing to reach the top of a 20-foot high railroad abutment on City of Keene property along Eastern Ave. Then learn to rappel from the top to the ground. Harnesses and regulation rope will be used. Two experienced belayers will assist Bob & Ken, who are experienced climbers. Enrollment limit 16. People who participate must sign a KSC hold harmless form. If questions call Bob at 358-2204 or e-mail Meet at Student Center desk then car pool or ride bicycles to the climbing site. Clothing: Athletic shoes or summer-weight hiking boots, loose fitting pants or shorts. Bug repellent may be needed. Please remove valuable rings, watches, bracelets. In the case of inclement weather the climb will be held at the YMCA. Presenters: Bob Dumand & Ken Goebel
