Mac Necessities: Note - Computers below the recommended requirements may operate within the College's network environment, but the HelpDesk does not offer troubleshooting support for those systems if you encounter problems connecting to the network.

• Operating System: Mac OS X v10.4 (fully patched) or higher
• Hardware: An ethernet card
• Network (data) cable: between 6' and 25' depending on the arrangement of the room. (15' should work in most rooms).
• Software: Make sure that you have your installation disks or CD for your operating system and if you are an on-campus student, you will need the software drivers for your network interface card (NIC).
