All students with PC's connected to the campus network through residence hall connections are required to install the KSC licensed version of McAfee VirusScan as part of the Cisco Clean Access Agent (CCA) network security effort. It is the only anti-virus software that will work with the CCA software at KSC. The College has a campus product license, through the University System of New Hampshire, for McAfee anti-virus software that includes a spyware blocker, and provides the software to all enrolled students as part of the network security effort. That means you don't have to pay annual software registration, and you have access to the current virus definitions to keep McAfee up-to-date.
