The Educause Computer and Network Security Task Force and the National Cyber Security Alliance held a Security Awareness Video contest in September that challenged students to create videos to promote Internet security. "Bob, You've Been Phished", by students from Cal Poly Pomona, won the first prize for a single topic video, and the students have agreed to share their video with other institutions across the nation. Being aware of phishing scams is a good computer security practice. So take some advice from Bob about how to avoid phishing scams. Just don't take his online dating advice, really. Bob, You've Been Phished: .WMV format (best viewed in Real player or Windows media player.) Visit the Educause site to watch all of the winning videos. Notice from the Educause Web site: The authors/creators of the winning videos retain copyright to their productions. Files of the winning videos on this page are available in three formats for streaming or downloading from the EDUCAUSE site. Permission is granted for educational, noncommercial uses of these files, provided that each is identified as being a winning entry in the Security Awareness Video Contest sponsored by the EDUCAUSE/Internet2 Computer and Network Security Task Force and the National Cyber Security Alliance. |
