When you open My Computer on your computer you will see a drive called "[your username] on Jackson\Personal". This drive is your personal drive. No one can access it but you. On this drive, you may store work-related files, images, or documents. In addition, you can log on to any computer on campus in the Keene_State domain and access your P Drive. Each user will be allowed 1GB of space on the file storage server. If you reach the amount allocated to you and you try to drag another document onto your drive, you will receive a message informing you that you’re over quota. Until you decrease the size of your folder by removing some items from your P: drive, you will be unable to move that document. If you store either of these kinds of files on your P Drive and the network becomes unavailable, you will not be able to access them until the your network connection is restored. In addition, when you log off your computer, you will receive an error indicating the files that could not be synchronized. All documents located in your P Drive will be backed up every night. In case of accidental file deletion, you may fill out a Data Restore Request Form and the document will be restored to your P Drive. A few things you should know about file recovery:
