How to Delay Delivery on a Message

1. Sometimes it is helpful to be able to write a message ahead of time and have it delivered at a later date and time than when you actually send it. Let's say you have to send out a message on Monday and today is Friday when you actually have time to write it. Go ahead and write the message. When you are ready to send, click the Options button.

2. Look toward the bottom of the dialogue box and check Do not deliver before. Use the drop-down arrow to select the date and then adjust the time manually. Now you can send the message. It will stay in your Outbox until the date and time of its delivery, and then it will be sent.
