Hands down, one of the best resources for looking for help with Office 2007 products is the Help button - a small blue circle icon with a question mark inside located in the top right hand corner of the applciation window. Click on Help and you will have immediate access to all of Microsoft's online resources to support the application. If you have a problem or question about an application, click the Help button before contacting the HelpDesk. Nine times out of ten thta is what the techncician on the phone will be doing - searching the Help resources for the answer. Although the Office products still function the same as the previous versions, there are a some differences. The major changes you will notice in most of the Office products are the Office Button and the Ribbon which replaces the menu bars. This will take some getting used to. We have developed a series of Quick Resource Guides to help you get started.
All new installations of Office have an extra tab installed on the ribbon for Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It's called Get Started. This tab will give you access to online training resources and demos from the Microsoft web site. You can find Help by Product, How-to Resources like training, demos and Learning Resources like Getting Started with the 2007 Microsoft Office System, the Office 2007 System Courses, and User Interface Guides.
