Faculty needs for digital/video/computer projection are being met with the combination of our media-enhanced classrooms and the faculty laptop initiative. The laptop initiative provides faculty with the ability to access their 'work' anywhere there is internet connectivity (in the classroom, home, conferences, etc.) In order to support adjunct technology needs many MEC's have a PC permanently installed in the Smart Cart.

There are approximately 137 teaching spaces where classes are taught at Keene State College. Some of these are laboratories, some are gymnasiums, and approximately 112 of them are traditional classroom spaces. Most of the traditional classrooms have overhead projectors and projection screens for showing transparencies and a VHS and/or DVD player. Media Enhanced Classrooms include: two network jacks, a ceiling mounted data projector, pull down screen, DVD/VHS player, amplifier, speakers, podium with laptop connection and/or permanently installed PC. All 112 traditional classroom spaces are 'media enhanced'.
