The IT Group provides technology services and support for KSC. Guest access is available on KSC for campus visitors to have limited Internet connectivity while visiting campus. A representative from the department sponsoring the on-campus conferences and/or guest should forward requests to the HelpDesk as far in advance as possible. The technology services that are available to conferences and/or guests include:Network Access: Wired: Wireless: Guests will need a temporary guest access login and password in order to use the computers and printers in Keene State College's public computing areas. Each guest must be sponsored by a KSC department or individual. That sponsor must contact the IT Group HelpDesk at least 5 days in advance to request the login. Your sponsor will provide this information to you when you arrive on campus. To request a guest account, please fill out a Guest NetID Request Form Summer Students:Students who are taking classes at KSC in the summer, but are not matriculated KSC students have two options for network access:
or Access to printers, Rhodes Hall Public Lab, Mason Library or other campus kiosks can only be accessed using your KSC NetID and password. Media Services:There are approximately 130 teaching spaces where classes are taught at Keene State College. Some of these are laboratories, some are gymnasiums, and approximately 108 of them are traditional classroom spaces. All classrooms have one network data port and one cable port in them. Most of the traditional classrooms have overhead projectors and projection screens for showing transparencies. Most of these classrooms also have a TV set with VHS and/or DVD player. Media equipment is available for request from the HelpDesk. All requests for media equipment must be requested from the sponsoring department representative by completing a Media Request Form. Equipment is limited and reserved on an as-available basis only. |
