Classroom Technology

There are approximately 130 teaching spaces at Keene State College, including laboratories and gymnasiums. All classrooms have one network data port and one cable port in them. Traditional classrooms come equipped with at least an overhead projector, projection screens, and access to a TV set with VHS and/or DVD player. An increasing number of traditional classrooms have data/video projection; also known as Media Enhanced Classrooms.

The lecture hall in room 101 in the Science Center is equipped with teleconferencing and distance education capabilities. This technology was purchased with funds from a Department of Justice grant to the Safety Studies Program, but is available for any instructor to use once they have had the proper training and presentation planning.
