Q. What is my mailbox quota and how can I tell if I am over quota?
A. All faculty and staff mailboxes on the Exchange server are 50MB in size. Outlook 2003 has a new feature called Cached Mode, which stores a copy of your mailbox on your local computer as well as on the server. This reduces some of the workload on the server and enables you to keep working in Outlook if network connectivity is lost. Data files stored on your computer, such as Offline Folder files, aren't as efficient as data stored on the server so the size of the data file on your computer will be larger than the reported mailbox size.
