The mission of the Information Services Team (IS Team) is to foster understanding between and within administrative areas, specifically those most involved with maintenance and upgrade of the student information system, Datatel’s Colleague and Benefactor. The team is comprised of a representative from each main functional area involved with daily processing and system administration. Team members work to develop a solid understanding of their administrative processes and functions, as well as a cross-functional perspective. The team meets weekly and meetings are open to the campus community.

The IS Team is involved proactively in the identification, research and resolution of administrative processing issues. Focus is to create a strong understanding of continued maintenance and operation of the Datatel system for future enhancements and problem resolution. In addition the Team will establish data quality controls, create new procedures, establish system codes, develop training, suggest new policy, and provide leadership within their respective areas in regard to system upkeep and development.
