The College Information Technology Committee (CITC) is the body charged with planning and reviewing the College's progress in technology implementation and use. The CITC recommends to the President or appropriate Principal Administrator of Keene State College in maters concerning campus technology. The CITC is composed of representatives from Academic Affairs, Finance and Planning, Student Affairs and student representatives, including representation from the Academic Technology Steering Committee and the Enterprise Information Systems Steering Committee. CITC is chaired by the Chief Information Officer. In 1995 Keene State College developed its first Information Technology Plan that guided the institution's development of a foundational level of information services. Five years later a second plan further advanced information technology services through a comprehensive portfolio of information services and the development of an infrastructure sustainability program. Our current plan joins people and processes to ensure the enhancement of the shared foundation of technology services and infrastructure. The new IT plan supports both institutional and individual initiatives and is responsive to developing trends in higher education. The initiatives and the process for assessing them can be found in the annual working plan. The working plan takes the college's budget constraints into realistic account and provides for ongoing campus discussions to align priorities and to identify funding sources. |
