Responsibilities of the Committee
- Articulate the vision, offerings, and contributions of the general education program
- Meet with appropriate campus departments and constituencies to develop criteria for general education courses
- Establish the process by which offerings are reviewed and ensure that disciplines with expertise are involved in this process
- Coordinate ongoing assessment and revision of the general education program, including the program principles, the administrative structure, and the curriculum
- Communicate and disseminate information about the program
