Adjunct Faculty Development

Adjunct Faculty Professional Development Fund Guidelines

BACKGROUND

The collective bargaining agreement between the KSCAA and the University System of New Hampshire establishes a pool of funds from which all bargaining unit members (those faculty with 5 or more semesters of service) may apply for faculty development funds. Adjunct faculty professional development funds are intended to be a source of support for activities that will directly impact KSC courses, their content, pedagogy or assessment. Such activities may include attendance at conferences, lectures, workshops or other training opportunities at KSC or elsewhere, or travel to engage in scholarly activities. These professional development activities must be clearly connected to classes taught or collaboration undertaken on the campus of KSC. Proposals for funding should be directed to the Adjunct Faculty Development Grant Committee.
