Undergraduate Research and Creative Projects Grants
PurposeThis program is designed to provide financial support for research and other creative projects conducted by students mentored by a faculty member. The goals are to enable students to conduct active research as a means of developing their critical and creative thinking and communication skills. Grant proposals must be prepared and submitted by the student and approved by the participating faculty member. 2008-2009 Available Funds $10,000 Range of Awards $50 to $750. The committee will not consider individual requests over $750. Proposal Deadlines Submit all proposal materials electronically to Susan Ericson-West. Sponsoring faculty must send an email directly to Susan Ericson-West confirming sponsorship. Proposals must be submitted no later than 5:00 pm on the following dates:

The Undergraduate Research Committee will review all proposals and make recommendations for funding. Students submitting proposals may be called for an interview with one or more members of the review committee.
