![]() Race in the 21st Century Third Biennial World Affairs Symposium October 30-November 1, 2003 Keene State College, Keene, New Hampshire How do Americans define race today, and how do we identify our own racial origins? "Race in the 21st Century" explores what race categories mean today and how we experience race. Teacher workshops examine how educators can help society begin to free itself of racism. All presentations and workshops are free and open to the public; there is a charge for the dinners and for lunch on Saturday. The deadline for registering for November first teachers' workshops or for reservations for evening banquets during the Race Symposium has been extended until Monday October 27th. No registration is required for other lectures or workshops. With the exception of evening banquets, symposium events are free of charge.
