Dr. Patricia Pedroza

Patricia Pedroza earned her Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Latina and Feminist Pedagogy from Union Institute University, Cincinnati Ohio in 2010, her Master in The Arts in Teaching from the School for International Training, Brattleboro, VT in 2003, and her B.A in Chemist-Pharmacology from the University of San Nicolás De Hidalgo, Mexico. Her international expertise has shaped her research experience and her current teaching involves Chicana/Latina Studies, American Studies, Feminisms made by Women of Color, and Global Education. She is interested in challenging pedagogies and participatory community learning processes inside of the classroom. She is also an independent performer and presents her artistic work for diverse audiences.
