Ken began his tenure at KSC in March of 2009. His responsibilities include securing private support for the College to enhance the success of our students and improve the institution. Ken looks to our alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations to provide the gifts that positively impact students’ lives. Ken also provides direction and support to the Development team as it works on securing gifts to fulfill the fundraising priorities of the College.
“Fundraising was not a career I sought,” Ken said, “but my work as a YMCA director necessitated learning the trade. The transition to fundraising in support of higher education has provided me with opportunities to continue to make a difference in the lives of individuals. My work at KSC is a combination of administration and direct fundraising. I hope to help build a sustainable fundraising structure and increase our scholarship funding to a level where graduates have a minimum of debt and a top-quality education.”
When not on campus, you can find Ken outside and off-trail as he enjoys hiking, climbing, and skiing. He also enjoys the competition of golf.
