Operating Staff Dependents Scholarship EndowmentThe Operating Staff Dependents Scholarship Endowment provides financial assistance for tuition and educational expenses to Keene State College Operating Staff children who are attending Keene State College. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to dependent children of Keene State College Operating Staff employees as defined according to the University System of New Hampshire Spouse and Dependent Children Tuition Benefit Program. Eligible recipients for this scholarship must be matriculated full- or part-time students who have achieved at least sophomore status and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Recipients of this scholarship shall be selected by Keene State College's Office of Financial Aid or equivalent department, which is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations concerning federal, state, and other aid in accordance with University System of New Hampshire policy regarding academic scholarships under University System of New Hampshire control. Each scholarship shall be for one academic year, and shall be disbursed in two installments; one half of the amount awarded to the student for the fall semester and the remaining half the second semester, assuming the student remains matriculated and retains the minimum GPA. Should the student wish to receive the award during fall, spring and summer semesters, the amount awarded may be split into three portions. The award may be renewed in accordance with the eligibility requirements outlined above, up to a maximum of 8 years. Should no other candidate be eligible or apply for the scholarship at that time, a student who has received the award for 8 years and is continuing progression toward his/her degree may apply again for consideration.
