Dr. Lila C. Murphy '52 Women and Leadership Lecture SeriesThe subject matter for this lecture series shall be Women and Leadership. Dr. Lila Murphy received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Keene State College and worked for the New Hampshire Department of Education for 15 years. She was an active member of the KSC Alumni Association, participated frequently in Reunion and Golden Circle events and was the 1972 recipient of the KSC Alumni Achievement Award. She had a distinguished career as professor and chairwoman of the Department of Individual and Family Studies at the University of Delaware, where she was responsible for the creation of the first Ph.D. program in the school's history.
