A Keene State College collaborative faculty and student resource group was formed in Fall '97 to discuss the clinical problem called "Asperger's Syndrome". Out of this effort the Asperger Resource Group was formed and expanded its resources to both local and international audiences. Asperger's Syndrome is often described as a high-functioning form of autism. Affected individuals are characterized by social isolation and eccentric behavior in childhood, including obsessions with facts. The Group is a web of support for children and young adults with Asperger's, and their parents. Alphabetical Listing of restricted funds |
