What constitutes a new project, anyway?

A project is a sequence of tasks with defined deliverables that has deadlines and a budget.

What that means to you is any communication that may have many components – print, web, email, video, audio, etc. It may also be just one communication vehicle, like a Public Service Announcement.

A project is NOT an update to an existing web page. For that, simply fill our the Web Update form below.

To ensure that we in the Marketing & Communications team can help you deliver the very best results, we’ve developed a checklist of items we both need to consider. Please take a moment to review, as it is intended to prepare you for the questions our team will ask when we sit down for our initial project meeting.

Complete and submit one of the two forms below. Within 48 hours (no, really!) someone from our team will get back to you to confirm receipt and ask questions if necessary.

Please note the following guidelines:

• As a general rule of thumb, most projects require a 4-6 week minimum lead time depending on the scope of the project. If you have any questions, please email Kathleen at kwilliams7@keene.edu.
• All collateral copy and materials must be submitted to us before a project can begin.
• All copy is edited to conform with Keene State college styleguides and the Chicago Manual of Style.
• Missing any agreed upon deadlines could result in project delivery delays.
