Keene State College offers a variety of Continuing Education opportunities to enhance professional and personal development. You may enroll in credit courses at the graduate or undergraduate level or take part in non-credit courses, workshops, seminars, conferences, and certificate programs. All non-matriculated students - those not formally enrolled in the College through the Admissions Office - are invited to contact the Continuing Education Office with inquiries about courses and registration procedures. As a Continuing Education student you can select courses that will maximize your efforts toward your educational goal, whether you are working towards an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree, or pursuing specific career goals. You may initially enroll as a part-time, non-matriculated student and later apply for admission to a degree program. Continuing Education courses are scheduled on weekday evenings and weekends to accommodate responsibilities at work and at home. However, if daytime hours are more suitable for your situation, most KSC courses also reserve a limited number of seats for Continuing Education students. Students who enroll part-time in credit courses are responsible for satisfying all course prerequisites, even though they are not matriculated in a degree program. Academic policy states that Continuing Education students will follow the academic schedule and policies required of all Keene State students. Credits earned may be transferred later either to a Keene State degree program or to other institutions. Non-degree, undergraduate students may attempt up to 30 credit hours, after which time they should apply for degree status through the Admissions Office. Non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid. |
