Baseball Through the Years (IQL-101)

Are you interested in baseball? Do you want to learn more about the history of this rich game, its teams and its players? In this course we will read, interpret, and analyze baseball data using descriptive statistics and mathematical modeling. Woven throughout the course is instruction on the use of selected software applications and the campus computing environment. Assignments will include case studies, written reports and reflections, computer-based and oral presentations, spreadsheets and web pages.
